• The incumbent is assigned as a staff dentist or dental specialist to the Dental Service and reports to the Dental Clinic Supervisor
• The incumbent will function as an equal member within the larger team of staff dentists and auxiliary staff

• Duties include but are not limited to:
  Provide complete range of dental care and treatment to Veteran patients
• Follow-up clinic visits for existing dental problems
• Document assessments and plan of care for each patient in accordance with policies and procedures
• Collaborate and act as a patient advocate
• Maintain knowledge of new and current clinical methods
• Perform related administrative duties - as required
• Reading and interpreting dental radiographs and digital scans
• Prescribe medication
