Family Medicine Medical Director- Convenient Southern Illinois

Deaconess Illinois Clinic is offering a competitive guaranteed salary of $260,000 for a full-time Family Medicine Physician, along with a $50,000 sign-on bonus tied to a 5-year contract. Additional Medical Director compensation up to $15,600 is also available. • Provide comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, including preventive services, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.

• Perform routine physical exams, health screenings, immunizations, and preventive care services.

• Develop and manage treatment plans for chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.

• Perform minor in-office procedures and assist with more complex procedures as needed.

• Ensure continuity of care through follow-up visits and coordination with specialists.

• Educate patients on disease prevention, healthy lifestyles, and wellness strategies.

• Respond to urgent care needs and manage emergency situations when necessary.

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA and clinic protocols.

• Provide clinical supervision, oversight, and support for Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs).

• Ensure advanced practice providers deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

• Mentor and collaborate with clinical staff to uphold strong standards of care and regulatory compliance.

• Foster a positive, team-focused environment that supports continuous professional development.

• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and evaluations of clinical staff.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing patient care process enhancements.
