Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive eye examinations and assess overall ocular health
  • Diagnose and manage conditions such as glaucoma, AMD, and diabetic retinopathy
  • Co-manage surgical cases including cataract, LASIK, and other procedures
  • Prescribe corrective lenses and provide patient education on vision care
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR)
  • Travel to affiliated nearby clinics as needed
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Illinois
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and patient-first approach
  • Willingness to travel between local partner sites
Preferred Experience
  • Background in surgical co-management
  • Familiarity with EHR platforms
