Ambleside teachers have an active, personal faith in Jesus Christ along with a desire to live out their faith by investing in young children and families through education. Recognizing that Ambleside School exists for the purpose of implementing the method of Charlotte Mason, Ambleside teachers willingly practice our educational philosophy as practiced by our schools affiliated with Ambleside Schools International. Besides the core subjects of Bible, math, literature, history and science, teachers at Ambleside instruct in many other areas of study, 12- 16 subjects a week. Our curriculum uses few textbooks.

Teachers are trained in our philosophy at a week long Summer Institute and through frequent observations in the classroom.
