IL Endoscopy Technician

Overview

The Endo technician is responsible for assisting in nursing care and preparing the endo patient by performing routine and delegated duties according to standards and policies and procedures; performing scrub duties and related procedures; assisting department personnel with nursing functions as directed; and functioning as a Sterile Supply Technician as directed; as Sterile Supply Technician they are responsible for processing instruments, assuring proper procedures are carried out, in the processing of instruments;

keeping central sterile stocked with needed supplies.

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a School of Operating Room Technicians preferred
• One (1) year of experience as Endo Technician preferred. Ability to work collaboratively with all members of the health care team and excellent communication skills required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Red Cross BLS Certification required.

Hourly Range $18.00 - $27.00

Potential for a performance-based bonus, subject to eligibility criteria and achievement of defined metrics. Details regarding bonus eligibility and performance goals will be provided during the interview process or upon hire.

Eligible for evening/night, weekend shift incentive based on company policies and applicable job codes. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.
