Position: Manager, HR (Labor Relations)

Job Summary

Looking for a dynamic and innovative Manager with experience in implementing and monitoring a variety of HR programs in support of a high-performance culture and diverse workforce. Anticipates and plans for long-term HR needs and trends in partnership with business management. We are seeking a leader with a passion for making a difference and a proven track record in HR, excellent interpersonal skills, strong understanding of business operations, who acts with integrity and works collaboratively as a trusted advisor.

Responsibilities
  • Supervises the daily activities of support staff or production team members. Does not typically perform the work supervised.
  • Must have any type of one direct report or more.
  • Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors.
  • Problem solving is guided by policies and procedures; receives guidance and oversight from manager.
  • Consistent exercise of discretion and judgment.
  • Supervises human resources functional operations, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, safety, and compliance.
  • Administers human resources programs and policies to reflect the organization s mission and values, support company goals, achieve objectives, and positively engage the workforce.
  • Maintains broad and current subject matter knowledge and expertise in federal and state employment laws to advise leadership with solutions for HR issues and evolving organizational needs.
  • Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR and Senior Leadership.
  • This position will oversee human resources functions of a union workforce. Human resources union experience preferred.
Qualifications
  • Required education and experience: Associate s Degree and 5-7 years  experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  • Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred education and experience: Bachelor s Degree
  • Discipline/Major: Human Resources or Business degree preferred
  • Additional certifications: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR preferred

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
  • Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
Travel

Up to 25% travel likely.

Pay Range

(USD) Pay Range: $75,320 - $139,880

Pay Transparency

The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the range during the hiring process.
