General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD‑OTS) is seeking a MCA Operator to join our Marion, IL team. The role involves working on a fast‑paced assembly line at a LAP Facility, performing load, assemble, and pack tasks while maintaining quality standards and ensuring a safe work environment. The position is entry‑level, but we value motivated individuals who can work all shifts and overtime as needed.

• Work all shifts and overtime as required.
• Package finished products and prepare for shipment.
• Perform assembly line tasks in a manufacturing setting.
• Ensure the production line runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Inspect assembled products to verify they meet quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area.
• Inspect products for any defects and flaws.
• Previous background in assembly and pack is a plus.

Required

• High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with supervision and colleagues.
• Understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and safety signs.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to undergo pre‑employment background and medical screening.
• Must be able to work all shifts and overtime as required.

Preferred

• Production experience in assembly and pack.
• Experience at a fast‑paced, high‑volume production line.

$28.57 - $31.57 per hour

The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for this position. Individual pay is determined by location and other factors such as experience and education.

Employees receive 11 paid holidays, 120 hours of PTO annually, and up to 3 weeks of paid family leave.
