General Manufacturing Position

Position to help in the manufacturing of AEIL products.

• Ability to follow the kanban flow.
• Follow standardized work.
• Work procedure; work point; and quality control.
• OK and NG criterion.
• Safety point.
• Defect management; control sheet management; die change procedure; and short stop recovery.
• Notification of abnormal incidents.
• First and last product check.
• Fill out the actual production log once per hour, as needed.
• Perform all tasks in accordance with the appropriate safety and protection standards.
• Reach the required competency level within 90 days from the start of work in the section.
• Be willing to adjust break rotation to adapt to work lines during breaks.
• Be willing to rotate to other lines within the section and to other sections to support production needs.
• Perform other reasonably related tasks within the company as required by the supervisor or manager.

• Must be able to work in a team.
• Know how to follow work procedures.
• Must be responsible and have good attendance.
• Ability to work shifts, many hours, overtime, on call, and weekends.
• Ability to interact well with coworkers.
• Ability to understand, follow, and apply the company’s published work norms and procedures.

High school diploma or GED preferred

Some dust, noise, oils, greases, grinding waste, compressed air, metal chips, propane, solvents, and occasionally heavy lifting.

Exposure to hazardous machinery and/or conditions that could lead to injury, including death, if safety measures are not followed and respected.

Exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, and oils. Performance of this position normally requires exposure to typical manufacturing areas under certain conditions requiring the use of personal protective equipment, such as safety goggles with side shields and mandatory hearing protection. Main environment: the temperature of the work area can be affected by outside temperatures and machining. Industrial lighting is provided.

Driving company equipment is required.
