Production Control Specialist

Job Description

• Responsible for Inventory Control including verification of inventory amounts for mass production, service and new model, in accordance with customer/production demand and supplier/internal capacity.
• Obtain, organize and analyze data from multiple sources to provide forecast to the plant for resource planning.
• Develop and maintain relationship with customers, and monitor and react to demand changes.
• Develop and maintain relationship with suppliers, and monitor and control supplier activities.
• Develop and maintain relationship with the team, closely coordinating with appropriate personnel.
• Coordinate and process engineering change instruction (ECI), and associated ramp up / build out activities.
• Identify opportunities to reduce overall cost and manhour needed within the department and implement.
• Identify opportunities to improve accuracy of output from the department and implement.
• Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety, security and quality standards.
• All other reasonably related tasks within the Company as required by Management.

55,000 - 65,000

• Two years of prior applicable experience in Production Control preferred.
• Automotive experience preferred.
