This position is with Shawnee Health and will service Shawnee Health in Marion, Illinois (Williamson County).

We are looking for a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who is passionate about providing high‑quality, comprehensive care to all individuals. Our team values respect and compassion, and we aim to create a supportive and welcoming environment for our patients and staff.

• Providing comprehensive preventive care and education for patients of all ages.
• Diagnosing and managing a wide range of medical conditions including chronic disease and illnesses.
• Providing women’s health services and family planning.
• Prescribing and managing patient medications.
• Ordering tests and initiating internal and external referrals.
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely patient records and contribute to organizational metrics and quality measures.
• Collaborate with a team of health professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

• Highly interested in providing family oriented primary care to patients from infant to older age.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer literacy/maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date electronic health records.
• Support the mission and values of Shawnee Health.

• A Nurse Practitioner Master’s Degree or Physician Assistant Master’s Degree.
• Board Certification in appropriate field.
• Current State of Illinois, controlled substance, and Federal DEA licensure.

• A minimum of two years’ experience in Family Medicine with the above certification.

• Eleven (2 Dental) FQHC Community Health Centers.
