Member Services Specialist — Frontline Retail & Tech

Sam's Club # Walton Way, Marion, IL

• Provide member service and support members with self‑service technology.
• Maintain the checkout area and process member purchases, including payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
• Perform safety sweeps and follow company safety standards, procedures, and guidelines.
• Handle merchandise properly, report unsafe situations, and assist with securing and safeguarding Sam's Club assets.
• Maintain entrance and exit areas, verify membership cards, review receipts, and assist with transporting items for members.
• Execute emergency response procedures and maintain required documentation and logs.
• Assist with training of Member Frontline Services associates on processes, procedures, and new technology.
• Identify shrink, damages, and comply with policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources while collaborating with managers and co‑workers.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with team members and contribute to a culture of belonging, integrity, and excellence.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail experience operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register).
• Experience with mobile retail applications.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to follow company policies.

• Experience in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Knowledge of safety sweep procedures and emergency response.
• Ability to provide training and continuous improvement to coworkers.

Hourly wage range: $17.00 – $25.00.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid up to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
