The starting pay range for this position per hour is $21.50 – $23.50. The full pay range for this position per hour is $21.50 – $36.55.

Responsibilities
  • Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.
  • Ensure every team member understands, is trained, and consistently delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments and operations.
  • Actively observe and provide feedback, holding team members accountable while recognizing great guest experience moments.
  • Review area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities, take action to improve, and align the team on the right behaviors and execution.
  • Plan daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver sales goals, including merchandising sets, planograms, and promotions.
  • Lead and coach a team of hourly team members, including interviewing, development, coaching, evaluating, and retaining talent.
  • Maintain safe and compliant environments, model and recognize safe behaviors, identify and correct hazards, and respond to incidents.
  • Support guest services such as back‑up cashier, order pick up (OPU), and Drive‑up (DU); ensure compliance with all relevant laws.
  • Occasionally assume store‑level Leadership on Duty (LOD) responsibilities to enable the guest experience during assigned shifts.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum age 18 years.
  • Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
  • Leadership experience and ability to hold others accountable.
  • Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners.
  • Independently manage workload and prioritize tasks.
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Access to all building areas; interpret instructions and reports accurately.
  • Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
  • Physical ability to climb ladders, lift up to 15 lbs routinely and up to 44 lbs occasionally.
  • Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.
  • Reliable and prompt attendance; capable of working in varying temperatures and environments.
