Oasis Home Center is seeking a Full Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team. Our sales positions require outstanding interpersonal skills, a strong customer service orientation, the ability to meet and set goals, and a desire to succeed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet customers immediately in store, determine their needs, and handle all transactions in a professional and enthusiastic manner.
- Aid customers in purchasing merchandise in store, online, and via phone.
- Become familiar with products, brands, prices, and make recommendations of products, including their features and benefits, to suit customers’ needs.
- Price and tag items appropriately based on pricing/buying guidelines. Maintain store displays and follow store housekeeping and maintenance standards and procedure.
- Provide continued customer service after the point of purchase by keeping customers informed on the status of their order.
- Understand different product lines and offerings.
- Participate in initial, and continued product training.
- A great attitude and the willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- A commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction
- Solid Multi-tasking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing customer service.
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
- Computer Proficiency
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Customer service experience a plus
- Background in appliance sales a plus
