We're looking for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our Marion office. As a Senior Tax Accountant at DWD, you'll work directly with clients and fellow professionals to provide thoughtful tax planning and compliance services across a variety of industries.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and reviewing federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, nonprofit organizations, and payroll tax filings.
• Building lasting client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
• Assisting clients with tax planning opportunities and responding to tax-related questions.
• Researching tax issues and applying current tax law to client situations.
• Collaborating with partners and team members to deliver high-quality client service.
• Managing multiple projects while meeting deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Maintaining the highest level of professionalism and client confidentiality.

We're seeking someone who enjoys building client relationships, solving complex tax issues, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications include:

• CPA license (actively pursuing CPA certification) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation.
• Public accounting tax experience preferred.
• Experience preparing returns for pass-through entities, partnerships, corporations, and individual taxpayers.
• Working knowledge of Quick Books Desktop and Quick Books Online.
• Experience with Ultra Tax, CS Fixed Assets, and tax research software is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, project management, and communication skills.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
