Medicaid Eligibility Enrollment Specialist

Are you passionate about helping people access the healthcare benefits and resources they need? Radiant Health is seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented Medicaid Eligibility & Enrollment Specialist to join our team!

In this rewarding role, you will help individuals navigate the Medicaid application and enrollment process, connect them with appropriate healthcare coverage, and provide ongoing support to ensure they can access the services they need. You’ll work directly with clients, healthcare providers, and government agencies to make the process easier and less overwhelming. Accessing healthcare coverage can feel overwhelming. As a Medicaid Eligibility & Enrollment Specialist, you’ll be the person who helps make that process easier.

Your work will help individuals and families understand their options, complete applications, overcome barriers, and connect with the care they need.

What You'll Do:

Conduct client intake and eligibility pre-screening to determine appropriate Medicaid programs and urgent needs

Assist with application completion by collecting accurate personal, financial, and household information

Gather and verify required documentation to ensure all eligibility criteria are supported and compliant

Submit and process applications accurately within state systems and required timelines

Track application status and follow up with clients and agencies to resolve issues and prevent delays

Support application process and enrollment, ensuring clients understand benefits, coverage, and how to access care Provide ongoing case support, including renewals, updates, and troubleshooting coverage issues

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with HIPAA, confidentiality, and quality standards

Coordinate with providers, case coordinators, and state agencies to ensure continuity and accuracy of services

Stay current on Medicaid policies and system updates to ensure accurate guidance and compliance

Perform other related duties as assigned within the scope and level of the position.

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred (social work, healthcare administration, or related field)

Experience with Medicaid, health insurance enrollment, or public assistance programs preferred

Strong data entry and computer skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to meet with clients either in the community, in their home, or at a Radiant Health location to complete the necessary tasks

High attention to detail and accuracy
