Housekeeper (Part-time)

Indiana Wesleyan University Nursing seeks a Part‑time Housekeeper to assist the Lead Housekeeper with routine cleaning and custodial care for assigned facilities. The position includes coverage of special events, managing teams for summer cleaning blitzes, operating light and heavy janitorial equipment, and performing special cleaning projects.

• Maintain specified cleaning responsibilities in assigned buildings under the direction of the Lead Housekeeper, making independent decisions for day‑to‑day custodial tasks.
• Apply best practices for sanitizing, disinfecting, and cleaning to ensure proper facility hygiene.
• Interact regularly with staff, team members, Facility Managers, and department representatives to coordinate specific services.
• Responsible for occasional overtime as directed by supervision.

High School Diploma.

Attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team on daily tasks.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent decision‑making skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
