American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift travel contract requiring 2+ years of ED experience and prior travel nursing experience.

• Emergency Department setting providing care for a combined adult/pediatric patient population
• May work at two locations
• Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts per week
• Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation required
• Meditech charting experience preferred
• Travel pairs accepted, provided both have flexible scheduling

• Active IN or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC preferred
• Skilled in IV therapy, phlebotomy, and central line care/management
• Experience administering blood products and managing ventilated patients
• Experience with emergency medications and IV vasopressors
• Skilled in triage, isolation precautions/PPE, and splint application/management
• Experience managing psychiatric holds, suicidal patients, drug overdose, and violent behavior
• Experience with CVA and other neurological emergencies
• Reference required from a direct supervisor within the last 12 months

• Provide emergency care across adult and pediatric populations, including trauma, psychiatric, orthopedic, and cardiac cases
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
• Previous permanent employees of the facility will not be accepted as travelers
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
