RSCS Ammonia Refrigeration Technician

RSCS, a Full-Service Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Construction and Service company, servicing 10 states across the western USA and in business for over 25 years is now hiring Ammonia Refrigeration Service Technicians. RSCS actively promotes a solid 'team environment' and is seeking technicians who enjoy working on a variety of equipment brands across a broad client base.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Ammonia Service Technician
• Proficient in:
  • Replacing mechanical seals on pumps and compressors
  • Performing motor alignments
  • Diagnosing and working with electrical systems and controls
  • Troubleshooting and servicing multiple brands of equipment and control systems
  • Understanding industrial-level ammonia refrigeration systems (not residential or commercial-only experience)
• Capable of:
  • Working independently in client facilities
  • Troubleshooting and repairing equipment when operators cannot
  • Performing start-ups of ammonia refrigeration systems

• Experienced in both commercial and industrial refrigeration
• Self-motivated, hands-on, and a self-starter
• Well-organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable with travel and participating in an on-call rotation
• Must have a clean driving record
