BIM Specialist Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Designer/BIM Modeler to contribute to a groundbreaking data center project in Cedar Rapids. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of our first data center project, with the potential for full‑time employment upon its successful completion. Your expertise will be crucial in translating various electrical components into BIM 360.
Responsibilities- Translate conduit, lighting, cable trays, and other electrical components into BIM 360 models.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and efficient design workflows.
- Meet project deadlines and contribute to the successful delivery of the data center project.
- Proficiency in Electrical design.
- Experience with Revit, BIM, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and BIM 360.
Skills & Qualifications
- BIM Modeling (level 3 or
4) using BIM 360 is required. - Experience in AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD MEP, or Revit is preferred.
This position requires on‑site work at the project location, which may involve exposure to heavy industrial equipment and systems. The role demands a balance of independent work and teamwork to meet critical deadlines. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marion, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
