As a Branch Services Representative, you will process transactions, assist members with account management, and educate them on products and services. You will also engage in cross‑selling, conduct proactive outreach, and support branch operations while ensuring compliance with regulations. Your role is crucial in enhancing member relationships and promoting financial services. WhatYou’ll Do
- Accurately process a variety of transactions for members including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and handle assistance in the lobby.
- Assist and educate members with Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) as needed.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile transactions at the end of the day.
- Open member accounts (checking, savings, certificates of deposit) and offer full‑family membership to new and existing members.
- Accurately close member accounts.
- Assist members through a Visa application by communicating approval or denial and processing balance transfers.
- Perform account maintenance tasks such as updating personal information and managing account inquiries.
- Educate members on features, benefits, and fees of the credit union and Dupaco products and services.
- Cross‑sell Dupaco products and services by engaging, identifying, and advocating for digital services, highlighting benefits, addressing concerns, and demonstrating how they enhance the member’s experience.
- Conduct proactive outreach and outbound calls to members as assigned.
- Perform Money Makeovers and Credit History Lessons and identify opportunities to deepen the relationship with the member by offering products and services.
- Identify and refer potential leads for specialized services such as mortgage loans, business loans, business services, Dupaco Insurance Services, and Dupaco Financial Services.
- Assist with branch operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling equipment, and machines, balancing, servicing, and reconciling.
- Ensure adherence to all credit union regulations, policies, and compliance procedures and requirements.
- Utilize available resources and tools to detect and report suspicious activities and transactions.
- Participate in branch meetings and training sessions to stay current on Dupaco policies and products.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service or equivalent experience.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (bilingual preferred).
- Previous cash handling experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to represent the financial institution positively and professionally when dealing with members and staff.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and an aptitude for learning new technologies.
- Strong attention to detail.
