The Machinist position in the Trade industry is crucial for ensuring the precision and quality of manufactured components used in various retail applications. This role involves operating and maintaining a variety of machine tools to produce parts that meet strict specifications and tolerances. The Machinist will collaborate closely with engineers and production teams to interpret blueprints and technical drawings, ensuring that all products are manufactured to the highest standards.

Additionally, the role requires troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the machining process, thereby minimizing downtime and maintaining production efficiency. Ultimately, the Machinist will play a key role in supporting the overall operational goals of the organization by delivering high-quality components that enhance product offerings in the retail sector.

This position is for off shift, the training with be on first shift. Hupp offers competitive wages, pay depends on experience. Company offers 401k, 401K company match up to 5%, Health, Dental, Vision, company paid disability and life insurance. Saturday hours worked is paid at 2X and Sunday hours worked is paid at 2.5X.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with CNC and manual machining equipment.

• Associate's degree in machining technology or a related field.
• Experience in the retail trade industry or similar manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with CAD software and programming CNC machines.
• Certification from a recognized machinist program.
• Completion of a machinist apprenticeship or equivalent experience in a machining environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.

• Set up and operate CNC or Manual machine equipment including lathes, mills, and grinders to produce parts according to specifications. tools,
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand specifications and tolerances.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, ensuring minimal disruption to production.

The required skills for this Machinist position include a strong understanding of machining processes and the ability to operate various machine tools effectively. Attention to detail is essential, as the Machinist must ensure that all parts meet precise specifications.
