The RN Clinic supports providers and coordinates care within an interdisciplinary team in an ambulatory setting by applying the nursing process, administering medications within licensure guidelines, delivering and appropriately delegating direct patient care within scope, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN Clinic serves as a key communication link among providers, patients, families, and external partners. The role coordinates care by scheduling referrals, completing required forms and authorizations, and maintains tracking systems for follow-up appointments and procedures to monitor disease status.

The RN Clinic upholds quality, safety, and regulatory standards and provides patient and family education, answering questions to promote understanding, adherence, and effective self-care.
