Travel Emergency Room RN | Days/Nights | 13-Week Contract

Join a busy 34-bed Emergency Department providing care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Minimum 24 months of Emergency Department experience
• Must have completed a travel assignment within the last 18 months
• Active Iowa RN License or Compact License
• EPIC experience required

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA)
• TNCC
• NIHSS (may be completed during onboarding if needed)

Preferred: CPI, MOAB, MAB, or SAMA de-escalation certification (can also be completed during onboarding).

• 34-bed Emergency Department
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4
• Mixed-acuity patient population
• Experience with drips and titratable medications
• EMR:
  EPIC
• Floating may be required to the Marion freestanding Emergency Department
• Scrub colors:
  Black, Navy Blue, or Caribbean Blue (solid colors)

• Quick interview process – Candidates can expect a phone call/text from a 405 area code
• 50-mile local radius (local travelers receive a reduced bill rate)
• Orientation dates available:
  August 31, September 8, or September 14
• Travelers are expected to work 1–2 of the 3 major summer holidays if the department is open
• Driver's license, resume, skills checklist, and required certifications must be included with submission

• Strong Emergency Department background
• Comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
• Excellent trauma, pediatric, and critical care skills
• Flexible and team-oriented with recent travel experience
