A leading industrial manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives at its manufacturing facility in Marion, Ohio
.
- Lead the site Quality function and manage the Quality team.
- Develop, implement, and maintain ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality systems.
- Oversee internal/external audits, certifications, documentation, and QMS compliance.
- Monitor quality KPIs and use statistical analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support new product launches, raw material introductions, process validation, and manufacturing optimization.
- Partner with Operations and site leadership to improve quality, throughput, waste, and overall process performance
. - Address customer quality concerns and support customer complaint resolution.
- Ensure products consistently meet customer specifications and quality requirements.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
. - 5+ years of Quality Management experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949
. - Experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, audits, and continuous improvement.
