Gate Attendant - Security Officer

Position: Full‑time Gate Attendant – Security Officer (Marion, Iowa)

Pay: $18.50 an hour. Paid bi‑weekly.

Shift: Saturday (5:45 AM – 2:00 PM) / Sunday (2:00 PM – 8:30 PM) / Monday‑Wednesday (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)

• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
• Disciplined to stay off personal phone.
• Ability to walk extended periods of time.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Pass Iowa Department of Public Safety/FBI background check (age 18 to present).
• Pass company motor vehicle records check.
• Pass pre‑employment 4‑panel drug screen.
• Interact with the public in a courteous and professional manner at all times.
• Remain calm in non‑emergency and emergency situations.
• Detail oriented and aware of surroundings at all times.
• Available to cover vacant shifts (overtime).
• Comfortable using a tablet and its functions for job‑related tasks.
• Reliable; excessive absenteeism will not be tolerated.

• Know that Cedar Rapids branch covers Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City & surrounding areas. All interviews and onboardings must take place at our Cedar Rapids Branch.
