Technical Operator (CNC Machinist)
Insight Global is looking to hire a Technical Operator (CNC Machinist) for one of our largest manufacturing clients. This person works on the manufacturing floor making precision plastic (PTFE) seal parts using computer controlled machines.
Required
Skills & Experience:
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- 1+ years experience in CNC operation
Nice to Have
Skills & Experience:
- Can read Vernier calipers, micrometers, and blueprints
- Machining / programming experience
Responsibilities:
- Run manufacturing machines (CNC lathes and mills) that shape PTFE material into seals
- Follow instructions and blueprints to make sure parts are made correctly
- Measure parts using precision tools to confirm they meet specifications
- Adjust machines and tools when needed to keep parts within tolerance
- Document work completed, including quantities made and any rejected parts
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
- Work scheduled shifts and help with overtime when customer demand is high
Ray rate: $24.50-$32.50 (DOE)
