Minimum Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, or related field, School Endorsement Preferred

● Appropriate State of Ohio Certifications/License

● Two years teaching or other related experience

● BCI/FBI Clearance

Essential Functions:

The LSW collaborates with students, families, teachers, administrators, and community agencies to promote student well-being, improve attendance, address barriers to learning, and support academic success.
Provide individual and group counseling to students experiencing social, emotional, behavioral, or academic challenges.
Assist students in developing coping skills, conflict-resolution skills, emotional regulation, and positive peer relationships.
Serve as a liaison between home, school, and community agencies.
Conduct parent conferences and provide resources to support student needs.
Connect families with community services, including mental health, housing, food assistance, healthcare, and other support programs.
Facilitate communication among students, families, school staff, and outside providers.
Contribute social-developmental information for evaluations and educational planning.
Support implementation of behavioral intervention plans and social-emotional learning initiatives.

Salary:
To Be Determined based on experience and the board-adopted salary schedule
Contract Days: 183-day contract with an additional 10 extended days
