DesiredExperience and Qualifications:
- Current and valid Ohio School Psychologist License is required
- Previous experience supporting elementary-aged children is highly valued
- Strong communication, assessment, and intervention skills
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team setting
- Flexibility, organization, and a genuine passion for student success
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students in grades K-5 to identify academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other professionals
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to support students
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure all students have access to necessary resources and supports
- Maintain accurate and timely records, and report on student progress as required
- Contribute to a positive school climate through preventive programs and staff training
This contract position offers a consistent 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to work closely with children throughout the school year and be part of a committed educational community.
