Job Description Summary
$15,000 sign‑on bonus for external applicants and newly licensed internal applicants with a one‑year work commitment, and for previously employed applicants who have been away from the organization for more than 90 days.
Summary of PositionThe Sr. Radiology Technologist prepares patients for examinations and performs diagnostic radiology procedures following Ohio Health and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) standards and protocols. The position requires proficiency in more than one modality and may include training in computed tomography (CT).
Responsibilities and Duties- Conduct routine radiographic studies in diagnostics.
- Conduct routine and specialized fluoroscopic studies utilizing digital fluoroscope equipment; maintain proficiency in each area.
- Provide radiation safety for operator and patient.
- Place patient in proper positions for procedures, adhering to department policy.
- Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization (HRO).
- ARRT certified (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists). OR registered with the Ohio Department of Radiographers (ORD).
- Graduate of an approved accredited radiography program.
- Registered with ARRT.
- Licensed to practice in the State of Ohio.
