Marion Goodwill Industries is seeking a Mission Services Manager to help lead programs and operations within our Goodwill Education and Training Center. This role combines program leadership, workforce development, community partnerships, staff development, and funding initiatives to expand the impact of our Mission Services programs.
You’ll help ensure programs achieve established outcomes while building relationships with community partners and identifying opportunities to meet evolving workforce needs.
What You’ll Do- Lead and support workforce development programs and services
- Coach, develop, and hold team members accountable to program expectations
- Monitor program outcomes and develop action plans when benchmarks aren't achieved
- Ensure programs remain compliant with policies, procedures, documentation, and funding requirements
- Maintain accurate program data, records, reports, and participant documentation
- Build and strengthen relationships with community organizations, employers, funding partners, and other stakeholders
- Identify community workforce needs and opportunities for new or expanded programs
- Develop and maintain funding relationships and assist with grant research and applications
- Support program evaluation and implement process improvements
- Coordinate program schedules, services, and workloads
- Support CARF standards, action plans, and ongoing compliance
- Develop training materials and facilitate learning opportunities
- Provide guidance and support to program participants as needed
- Protect confidential participant and program information
- Represent Goodwill at community meetings, conferences, trainings, and professional events
- Leadership role with meaningful community impact

- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent related professional experience
- Experience in workforce development, human services, program management, or a related field
- Leadership experience with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop others
- Strong relationship-building and community partnership skill
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and insurance
- Ability to pass background check and drug/alcohol screening
