JOB DETAILS
1st Shift Base Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
1st Shift: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments.
- Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units
- May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
- Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
- Understand and carry out verbal instructions
- Read and carry out simple written instructions
- Read work orders, labels, and schedules
- Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during interview), inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
- Make fraction and decimal conversions
