Fast‑paced automotive supplier, positioned for growth, is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee production, maintenance, quality and materials. Daily you will work within an eager, driven team and report directly to the VP of Operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Drive the Vision:
    Develop and execute high‑level manufacturing business plans and budgets that align with total company strategy.
  • Optimize Operations:
    Lead all production, maintenance, quality, and materials departments to ensure every objective is met with precision and cost‑efficiency.
  • Master Planning:
    Revolutionize plant activities through sophisticated planning and coordination with department managers to ensure all manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely manner.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Champion a culture of constant refinement by implementing cost‑effective systems of control over capital and operating costs.
  • Visual Communication & Standards:
    Elevate plant organization and cleanliness programs, utilizing visual communication to maintain a world‑class manufacturing environment.
  • Champion Quality:
    Set the gold standard for performance, monitoring plant‑wide production and quality metrics to ensure we never settle for "good enough."
  • Modernize & Maintain:
    Keep the facility at the cutting edge by managing equipment upgrades, replacements, and facility adjustments.
  • Empower People:
    Serve as a mentor and leader, providing the training and support necessary to help the team reach its full potential while fostering a positive, collaborative culture.
  • Ensure Integrity:
    Act as a Corporate Governance Officer and Managing Committee Member, ensuring all activities meet legal and regulatory standards.

Requirements for the Plant Manager
  • Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree is highly preferred.
  • At least five years of similar plant management experience, working in fast‑paced, mass production manufacturing environments.
  • Experience overseeing direct and indirect reports, with oversight of at least 150 individuals.
  • Experience overseeing multiple facets of operations, including production and other areas, such as quality, maintenance, engineering, materials, etc.
  • Experience overseeing non‑union work forces.
  • Experience with machine guarding and safety.
  • Proven track record of continuous improvements.
  • Experience managing budgets and P&L.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Skills Preferred but NOT Required
    • SAP.
    • Experience working in automated environments, including PLCs and robotics.
    • IATF 16949.
    • Plastics.
