Maintenance Welder​/Fabricator - Day Shift

Duties and Responsibilities:

Use hand-welding or flame cutting equipment to weld or join metal components. Install, diagnose, operate, maintain, and repair equipment such as balers, compactors, cranes, forklifts, loaders, tractors, gas and diesel engines, etc.

Essential Duties:

• Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind.
• Operate grinders, hand files, and scrapers.
• Weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
• Use hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, and hoists.
• Work safely and with proper PPE.
• Maintain clean work spaces and practice good housekeeping.
• Coordinate and communicate with staff and other Managers.
• Maintain work orders, inventory, production, and work assignments.
• Time management, basic mathematics, active listening, critical thinking, reading comprehension and respect for others.

Hours:
Mon. – Fri. 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (overtime as needed)

Pay rate: up to $30 an hour depending on experience. A field test will be conducted.
