Location:
Manufacturing plant in Marion, OH. Shift: 3rd Shift, Monday‑Friday 10 pm–6:30 am.
The Operations/Production Analyst leads an entire material department at Marion Operations in pursuit of all Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People objectives. This position is the direct people leader of the team consisting of a coordinator, team leaders, and operators who are responsible for daily production for that line/shift.
Your Responsibilities Will Include- Lead production activities to meet customer demand as set by the level plan
- Drive improvements to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People objectives for the department
- Implement World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methods and tools into daily operations
- Direct, develop, support, and assess the team members as their people leader
- Complete daily time & attendance records in Kronos for direct reports
- Understand and lead route maximization through data analysis
- Lead World Class Manufacturing (WCM) expansion activities through Logistics Customer Service (LCS) Pillar
- Lead continuous improvement activities utilizing the WCM methodology in support of plant metrics to meet specific targets
- Perform root cause analysis based on data to eliminate losses
- Manage kaizen from start to finish through the various internal tollgates, supporting operations with creative solutions to immediate problems and leading cross‑functional teams;
- Develop solutions and lead capital projects that support the long‑term manufacturing strategy of the Marion operation
- Specify, order and assure proper implementation of new process & equipment
- Maintain quality standards within the department
- Communicate to work teams, shop floor leaders, and other departments to ensure greatest efficiency
- Support maintenance department in troubleshooting critical issues
- Drive process improvements using lean manufacturing concepts and tools
- Lead team of Engineering Technician(s) to drive projects
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1+ years of experience supervising or leading a team
- Bachelor's Degree in Operations or Engineering
- Computer skills including Google Workspace suite
- Experience in leading, coaching, and developing large teams of employees
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Experience implementing problem solving and continuous improvement
- Strong project management skills
