Production Operator Sourcing

Position: Production Operator JUNE Sourcing
The Production Operator is responsible for setting up and assisting the operator epoxy coat and fabricate rebar in accordance with work orders and shop drawings. This role ensures product quality and supports timely delivery to customers.

* ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

*
* · Review fabrication schedules and work orders with the Operator

· Inspects bars for quality; touch up end of bars with paint

· Completes paperwork; tag or label each order; daily production records

· Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.

** ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS/TASKS:*
* · Assembles cardboard shipping boxes on pallets

· May package and band boxes of fabricated steel.

** HOURS WORKED:*
* · 40 hours per week - 10 hour shifts Monday-Thursday

· Mandatory Overtime as required on Fridays seasonally.

· Fixed shifts - 1st shift 6 AM - 4:30 PM

** PHYSICAL DEMANDS:*
* · Must be able to Stand and walk continuously.

· Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull 25 pounds frequently and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.

· Must be able to climb, bend, twist, reach, crouch frequently.

· Must have eye, hand, and foot coordination to operate in a safe and productive manner.

· Must have vision to be able to read 12pt font from 3 feet away.

** PPE required:
** Steel toe safety shoes, Provided:
Earplugs, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats.

* ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

** Heat, cold, noise, vibration, fumes, and other potential work hazards.

** Requirements*
* · 6 months to one year, on the job training.

· Basic Math skills, able to read tape measure and ability to read and comprehend work orders.

· Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment is desired.

** Pay Details:**  $18.00 per hour
