Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Fiber Laser Operator role in Marion, OH. Key Responsibilities:• Operate and monitor fiber laser cutting machines to ensure precision and accuracy in all fabricated components.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders to determine machine settings and cutting requirements.
• Perform setups, adjustments, and offsets on laser equipment as needed for various materials and thicknesses.
• Conduct quality checks on parts to verify dimensions, tolerances, and material integrity.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all safety and maintenance protocols.
• Load and unload materials using appropriate handling equipment while ensuring accurate part identification and inventory tracking.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laser cutting equipment to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet production goals and improve cutting efficiency.
• Accurately record production data, part counts, and equipment logs.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications in manufacturing or CNC/laser operation preferred.
• Prior experience operating a fiber laser cutting machine (e.g., Amada, Trumpf, Bystronic, or Mazak) strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and precision measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining tight tolerances and high-quality standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced production environment.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work swing shifts and occasional overtime as needed.
• Competitive hourly wage based on experience. $21+ DOE.
