The Director of Nursing (DON) at our Assisted Living & Independent Living campuses oversees our residents’ health concerns and manages the Nursing Services Department according to federal, state, and local regulations. They ensure quality care under the guidance of the Executive Director/Administrator and the Medical Director.

• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates, and directs the nursing service department, as well as its programs and activities, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the Senior Living Campus.
• Leads the clinical team with a focus on clinical and customer service excellence.
• Develops, implements and maintains an ongoing quality assurance program for the nursing service department and executes appropriate plans of action to correct identified deficiencies.
• Participates in facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies and ensures facility compliance with laws and regulations governing the Senior Living Campus.

• Must have and maintain a current, valid state LPN license and current, valid CPR certification required.
• 1-3 Years of relevant experience preferred.
• Prior management experience in Assisted or Independent Living as a Director of Nursing or Wellness Director preferred.
• Compassion and a positive, outgoing personality with strong critical thinking, communication, team building & leadership skills.
