Role Description The District Manager role at Showplace, Inc. is a full-time, on-site position based in Marion, OH. This role is responsible for overseeing multiple retail locations, ensuring consistent execution of company standards, policies, and procedures. Day-to-day tasks include guiding and coaching store managers, monitoring sales performance, managing budgets, and implementing initiatives to drive revenue and profitability. The District Manager will review store operations, analyze performance metrics, and address operational challenges to maintain high levels of customer service.
This position also involves staffing oversight, training support, and collaboration with senior leadership on strategic planning and regional growth.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in multi-store retail management, district or regional leadership, or a similar supervisory role.
- Strong skills in team leadership, coaching, and performance management, with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
- Competence in sales analysis, budgeting, and financial oversight to meet revenue and profitability targets.
- Effective communication, problem solving, and decision-making skills, including the ability to handle escalated customer or operational issues.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work across multiple locations, including time management and attention to detail.
- Comfort with using retail management systems, point-of-sale technology, and basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, reports).
- Availability to work on-site, travel between locations as needed, and maintain a flexible schedule based on business needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, or a related field is beneficial.
