Lead Electrician

This role leads electrical work in commercial and industrial environments, overseeing installations, maintenance, and repairs while guiding a small crew in the field. You will handle conduit work, terminations, and equipment moves, ensuring all projects meet code requirements and are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
• Move production lines and equipment in industrial environments, ensuring safe and efficient relocation of electrical connections.
• Install and work with rigid conduit and other conduit types, typically ranging from 3/4 inch to 1 inch, and up to 3 inches or less as required.
• Perform conduit bending using provided industrial tools and ensure clean, accurate runs.
• Complete terminations and install electrical devices, panels, and related components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute electrical installations.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues, perform diagnostics, and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.
• Collaborate with other trades and team members to coordinate tasks and complete projects on time.
• Lead or run a small crew in the field, delegating tasks and ensuring quality workmanship when needed.
• Use hand tools and power tools, including drills, impacts, and industrial equipment such as hydraulic benders and bandsaws, provided on site as needed.

Additional Skills &

Qualifications:

• Lift certifications are a plus
• OSHA certification is a plus
• Experience as a lead electrician with controls experience is a significant advantage.
• Experience working with industrial tools such as hydraulic benders, bandsaws, and other specialized equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marion, OH.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
