Class A CDL Delivery Driver

Job Details

Hourly Pay: $31.00 hourly

Shift: Full‑Time, Monday Through Friday

• The Driver will transport and deliver windows and doors to dealers, distribution centers, and construction sites using a tractor‑trailer.
• Assist in loading and unloading products at customer locations and when returning products.
• Perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of windows and doors of varying weights.
• Apply knowledge of commercial driving and maneuver the vehicle at varying speeds in difficult situations, such as heavy traffic, inclement weather, or tight loading‑dock areas.
• Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations, including driver logs, fuel purchases, mileage records, and other required documents.
• Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures and comply with all Federal, State, and local regulations for safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle.
• Answer questions regarding packing lists, invoices, packaging, and material content; if unable to answer, direct customer to the appropriate contact.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with doubles endorsement if twin trailers are pulled at location.
• Acceptable accident and moving violation Motor Vehicle Record.
• 2 years of tractor‑trailer driving experience, including winter driving.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Ability to read, write, and perform simple mathematical calculations with general mental ability to handle receipts, read maps and road signs, and maintain logs.
• Ability to follow instructions and take directions via on‑board computer system and by phone.
• Must be able to work independently and effectively with people in a fast‑paced environment.
• Delivery areas: OH, MI, IN, WV, Western NY, KY, TN, PA and possible Midwest region if needed.
