The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for managing the flow of incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring accurate inventory tracking, timely shipments, and adherence to safety and quality standards. This role supports warehouse operations and production by maintaining efficient logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities Shipping/Receiving- Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips
- Inspect materials for damage, quality issues, or discrepancies
- Enter received goods into inventory systems (ERP/WMS)
- Label, organize, and store materials in designated warehouse locations
- Communicate with procurement or supervisors regarding shortages or damaged goods
- Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments according to company and carrier standards
- Coordinate with carriers (UPS, Fed Ex, freight companies) for pickups and deliveries
- Generate shipping documentation (bills of lading, packing lists, shipping labels)
- Ensure outbound orders are complete, accurate, and shipped on time
- Track shipments and resolve delivery issues as needed
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Min. 6 months of forklift/warehouse experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
Starting Pay: $18/hr available shifts 6AM-2:30PM (2)
