Full-time Class A Yard Drivers
- Starting pay: $24.00/hour ($84000 projected annual W2) plus $1.05/hour shift differential

- Equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras, helping to ensure safety for all
- Automatic transmissions with yard trucks and 48'/53' trailers
- Move trailers in and out of dock as directed by management
- Couple and uncouple trailers
- Chock trailers as they are spotted for loading and unloading and pulling from doors
- Perform drop and hook/live load movements of manufacturing components while prioritizing safety and efficiency
- Maintain communication with dispatch and customer teams while contributing to a positive work environment
- Perform yard moves and trailer movements supporting manufacturing operations with approximately 40 moves per day
- Monday through Friday
- Two days off per week; occasional Saturday or Sunday work may be required based on customer production needs
- Shift flexibility of +/- 2 hours may be required based on customer requirements

Qualifications:- Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the past 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
- Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
- This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
