Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 2:00 pm with OT as required

The Finger joint Machine Operator adds value by leading the Finger joint team to achieve quantity and quality production goals

• Learn both feeding and stacking in addition to operating in order to be able to rotate throughout the day
• Ability to read specs and measurements
• Able to troubleshoot machinery in order to reduce downtime
• Operate machine at 100 lugs per minute to achieve production standard
• Ability to work in a team setting
• Ability to pay close attention to detail
• Learn quality aspect of product in order to reduce waste

• Prior machine operator experience
• Must have strong verbal communication skills
• Must work well with others in a close environment

• Ability to lift to 35lbs regularly throughout the day
• Regularly required to use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms
• Regular bending, stooping, stretching, twisting, and turning
• Frequently required to stand (up to 10 hours) and walk
• Noise level is usually moderate
• Exposure to head and cold extremes at times
• Exposure to potentially hazardous production areas (heavy equipment traffic, slip/trip hazards, airborne dust/debris, etc)
