As the DON at Francis Marion Manor, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care.

Responsibilities include:

• Participate in management team meetings related to census, resident care plans, complaints, and concerns as well as QAPI and facility assessments.
• Evaluate work performance of all nursing personnel and discipline according to operational policies.
• Oversees nursing schedules, participants in recruitment, hiring and termination of nursing personnel, and monitors the infection control program.
• Ensure resident incidents and concerns that rise to a reportable event are reported to the correct entity within the state regulatory requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.

• Current unrestricted RN license for the state of Virginia
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing home or other related healthcare facility
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices as well as long-term care regulations
