Meat Service Coordinator Essential Job Functions
- Deliver outstanding customer service following the company's mission to 'Run the Best Store in Town!'
- Set the standard for exceptional customer service, associate relationships, cleanliness, sanitation, professional appearance, and overall profitability.
- Foster a positive atmosphere of teamwork and friendliness through a can‑do attitude and flexibility.
- Encourage associates to engage with customers, ensuring prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
- Maintain professional interactions with management, associates, and customers alike.
- Train, supervise, and support the development of Service Meat Department Associates.
- Manage the team effectively to enhance sales and profitability.
- Assist in labor control and create work schedules for the Service Meat Department Associates.
- Participate in performance reviews for Service Meat Department Associates.
- Implement merchandising strategies according to company standards for the Service Meat Department.
- Order and manage inventory levels based on daily departmental needs.
- Oversee proper receiving of all ordered products.
- Ensure accurate pricing of all products.
- Maintain departmental cleanliness adhering to company standards.
- Uphold and enforce all safety policies and procedures.
- Implement local, state, and federal regulations relevant to the Service Meat Department.
- Oversee all departmental paperwork, ensuring accuracy in records.
- Supervise promotional products during advertisement periods, adhering strictly to ad plans.
- Ensure the quality and freshness of all meat products.
- Utilize the intercom system to boost sales within the department.
- Implement and uphold the company food safety program and COOL standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment following sanitation schedules and daily checklists.
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Able to meet standard physical, mental, and visual demands.
- Must be able to follow detailed verbal and written instructions and engage with various team members throughout the workday.
- Must be available to work on‑site during scheduled shifts in compliance with company attendance policies.
