Adecco is currently hiring a full-time detail-oriented and organized Administrative Billing Clerk to support our client's billing operations in Markham, ON. In this role you will manage invoice processing, purchase orders (POs), and related administrative tasks while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company processes.
  • Pay Rate: $23.00 - $24.00/hour (based on experience)
  • Location: Markham, ON
  • Shift: 8:00 to 4:30 or 9:00 to 5:30
  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time | 12-month contract

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit invoices for payment accurately and on time.
  • Create and attach cover sheets for billing documentation.
  • Scan and upload documents into the internal system.
  • Enter vendor invoices into the billing system.
  • Monitor and resolve issues related to purchase orders (POs).
  • Communicate with vendors and internal teams to correct PO discrepancies.
  • Perform general clerical duties including filing, data entry, and document management.
  • Maintain accurate records of billing activities and support audit processes.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business administration or accounting is an asset.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in billing, invoicing, or administrative support.
  • Four (4) years customer service, clerical or related experience required; experience in dock operations environment or distribution center setting preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data entry, formatting).
  • Familiarity with vendor invoicing systems and PO processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with document scanning and electronic filing systems is preferred.
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
