Scheduling Coordinator

Position: Scheduling Coordinator at Oak Valley Health
Take charge of scheduling as a Scheduling Coordinator with Oak Valley Health. Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure all departments are optimally staffed during operational hours.

Reporting to the Staffing Office Supervisor, you will be at the heart of scheduling and timekeeping efforts. Candidates should hold a Post-Secondary Diploma in a relevant area and have experience in staffing or scheduling, preferably within a hospital environment. Key responsibilities include managing staffing schedules, prioritizing staff redeployment, and ensuring compliance with collective agreement regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and distribute staffing schedules in compliance with policies

• Reconcile timecards accurately using Softworks system

• Support staffing solutions through effective communication

• Be proactive in addressing timekeeping discrepancies

• Engage in policy development discussions as needed

Requirements:

• Post-Secondary Diploma in Administration or associated field

• Recent experience with hospital staffing processes

• Knowledge of collective agreements ideal

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
