Huawei Canada is seeking a Coordinator Assistant for Academic Conferences on a 12-month contract. Help organize global events while utilizing AI tools for research and planning.
In this contract role, you will support the organization and execution of technology-focused academic conferences. Your tasks will include coordinating with teams, managing documentation, and communicating effectively with external vendors. You'll also provide essential on-site support to ensure events run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support conference planning and activities globally
• Conduct research and preparation using AI tools
• Manage communication between teams and external partners
• Keep conference calendars and milestone documentation updated
• Provide on-site assistance during conferences and events
Requirements:
• Over 1 year of experience in event or administrative roles
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent cross-functional communication abilities
• Passion for technology and academic engagement
• Capacity to work independently in an international setting
