Company Description
Our client is a leading supplier of food and bakery ingredients in the North American market. They are "small but mighty" and pride themselves on being a family-oriented organization. With nearly 30 years of experience, they are one of Canada’s premier importers of commodities for industrial food manufacturers.
Compensation
$55,000 – $60,000, plus benefits (medical, vision, and dental).
The Opportunity
This is an excellent role for a professional looking to join a growing organization and make a direct impact, working closely with the accounting, quality and purchasing teams.
Note:
This is an in-office opportunity, with no hybrid or remote potential.
Experience
- Ideally 3-5 years’ in document controls, or an administrative function requiring managing commercial paperwork, documentation, reporting and/or accounts payable
- Previous experience managing data entry in an ERP systems
- Business Administration Diploma or Degree considered an asset
- Expert Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Keen attention to detail, with an understanding of payment processing, logistics scheduling, documentation maintenance and upkeep, data entry and managing payment calendars
- Personable, enjoys working in a team and thrives in a collaborative environment
- A self-starter who is driven, motivated and detail-oriented
Education
Business Administration Diploma or Degree considered an asset.
