Position: Business Analyst for Regulatory Transformation
Join Bank of China (Canada) as a Business Analyst focusing on Regulatory Reporting in Markham, Ontario. This full-time role supports the automation of regulatory processes, requiring strong analytical skills.

As a detail-oriented Business Analyst, you will gather and analyze business and regulatory requirements while supporting automation initiatives within the Digital Transformation Office. This role involves collaborating with Finance, Risk, Compliance, IT, and Operations teams to enhance reporting workflows. Your expertise will help automate, standardize, and optimize regulatory reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and document regulatory reporting requirements

• Develop Business Rules and Data Mapping documentation

• Analyze financial data and reporting structures

• Support design and testing of automated reports

• Conduct gap analysis and identify process improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Finance, Business, or related field

• 3–5 years as a Business Analyst in financial services

• Experience with regulatory reporting and financial analysis

• Proficiency in Excel and SQL/Power BI

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
